Planning a Langley backyard wedding? Check out how Miranda & Nick celebrated their special day!
Small intimate backyard weddings are awesome. Miranda & Nick chose colours teal, fern greens and also white floral as their wedding theme. At their family’s property in Langley, friends and family arrived equipped with gumboots and umbrellas. This gorgeous Spring day decided to bless us with some rain. No biggie though! M&N were prepared. They had rented white tents for their ceremony as well as dinner reception in the yard.
A great way to keep your wedding day smooth sailing is to have a first look. First looks give you an intimate moment with each other to get the nerves out. This also means that your photo session and family photos can be pushed up in your schedule allowing you time to hang out with your family during cocktail hour. Cocktail hour is usually missed by the bride and groom with traditional wedding timelines as usually, this is when we’d usually head out for your wedding party photo session.
There was so much to love about these two. I just LOVE the photographs of Nick’s excitement when she stood with him as they exchanged their “I Do’s”. Too stinkin’ cute!
For this wedding, we stayed on the property for the entire wedding which meant absolutely no need for travelling anywhere for photographs. We had lots of time for portraits and the sun made an appearance for the later half of the day which was a great opportunity for us to take more photographs of just these two 🙂 After a quick family portrait session, M&N mingled with guests, caught up with family and could enjoy their time together on their special day.
For dinner, they had a build your own taco buffet bar! Whuuuuut. Seriously, so good.
Congratulations Miranda & Nick on your special day!
